Roller Network Dedicated Servers

Our entry-level dedicated servers are based on the Intel Atom platform. By choosing a dedicated server over a VPS you will gain full use of the storage, CPU, and memory resources on your server. Intel Atom servers are low power and energy efficient compared to a standard 1U server. Although they may not be suitable for intense computing applications, they are good LAMP (Linux Apache MySQL PHP) platforms.

Metered bandwidth is available as an alternative to a standard committed rate or burstable port. With metered rates, you receive a monthly allowance of aggregate transfer (upload + download).

You may also choose to bring your own bandwidth by ordering circuits to one of our fiber muxes. We have fiber available from AT&T (the ILEC) and Verizon Business. Other providers with a POP in Reno, NV are: Sprint, Global Crossing, and Level3. Circuits ordered from one of these providers typically use AT&T for the last mile.

There is a fee for cross connects depending on the type (Ethernet, DSx, OC-x, etc.) Contact us for details.

Because Roller Network Dedicated Servers are not a managed service (we will not retain a login to your server once setup is complete), "remote hands" services are available to help you recover from problems you can't fix using the remote serial console such as reinstalling a bootloader or running a rescue disc. One free "remote hands" request per month (1 hour typical) is included on accounts with committed rate bandwidth. Our standard rates are $95/hour (1 hour minimum) or $1000 per day (12 hours). Minor requests (check lights, button pushes, media changes, etc.) are free subject to on-site staff availability.

We believe in our services; our SLA will credit beyond what you paid for a qualifying event.

Dedicated server terms are for one (1) year. Upon expiration of the agreement term it may be renewed for an additional year. Month-to-month terms will incur a 40% surcharge. Thirty (30) days written notice is required for cancellations. The early termination fee for a dedicated server contract shall be the total remaining term payments.
